It covers an area of about 30 hectares, and is divided into numerous corridors and courtyards, where you can find shops selling spices, jewellery, carpets, clothing and other products.
- Çemberlitaş Hamam is probably the most famous Turkish bath in Istanbul. The Çemberlitaş Hamam was built by Sinan in 1584 during the tenure of Sultana Nurbanu, born in Venice in the mid-16th century and brought to Istanbul by Ottoman corsairs.
- the Blue Mosque (Turkish: Sultan Ahmet Camii) is the most famous a famous mosque in Istanbul. It is located in the historic part of the city, near the Grand Bazaar and the Basilica Cistern. It is fascinating to visit, and is regarded as one of the prime examples of Ottoman architecture.

Turkish cuisine and drinks
Turkish cuisine is famous for its variety of flavors and the use of fresh ingredients and spices.
The most famous specialties are kebab, meze, baklava, and tavuk göğsü (a dessert made with chicken and milk). Turkey is also famous for its tea, which is served in small handleless cups.
