From 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022, the Dubai Expo (UAE) will be held, a Universal Exposition and an important appointment with the future and innovation in the world.

For six months Dubai is transformed into a world showcase in which participating countries will present the best of their ideas, projects, exemplary and innovative models to the world.

Expo 2020 has started with excellent prospects, and about 25 million visitors are expected in the next six months, which in addition to the visit to Expo, will increase tourism and bring back investments in the emirate.

The Universal Exposition, often called simply Expo, is an international exhibition hosted every 5 years by a different country, lasting a maximum of 6 months.

The construction of the pavilions of each country is carried out by each participating country, and are added to the themed pavilions of the organization.

The Expo is the largest exhibition in the world that promotes and allows dialogue and cooperation between citizens and institutions between the various countries of the world.

Expo is managed by the BIE (Bureau International des Expositions), an international organization of which 168 States are members, and pursues multiple objectives, including:

• Experiment with the future

The first edition of Expo dates back to 1851 in London at the Crystal Palace in Hyde Park and is also known as the Great Exhibition. Event born from an intuition of Prince Albert, consort of Queen Victoria, becoming the reference for all subsequent editions, influencing numerous aspects of society such as the arts, education, trade and international relations.

Expo 2020 in Dubia is held from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022, with the aim of uniting countries and peoples for the creation of a new world, re-imagining tomorrow.

More than 190 countries showcase their cultures and innovations within architecturally striking pavilions on the 438 hectare (1,083 acre) site. A single exhibition center that encompasses different cultures, religions and ideas.

Travelers can visit Dubai if they have a negative PCR test prior to departure, however a vaccine is required to visit the rest of the UAE.

To enter the Expo itself, anyone over 18 years of age will need to show proof of a vaccination or a negative PCR test. The free test will be available to ticket holders on site.
